Pastor Don Leavell, founder and senior pastor of the Corpus Christi Christian Fellowship, is committed to sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ with the world. We welcome Pastor Leavell's Radio Ministry, Living The Christ Life, heard here on KSGR Monday through Fridays at 7:00 am and 8:00 pm.
He is the fifth of ten children born to Reverend Orlean and Mrs. Lina Leavell. Growing up in Palestine, Texas, he received his early education in the public schools of east Texas. He is a graduate of Texas A & I University in Kingsville, Texas, earning a degree in government and economics. While a senior at the university, he married Marva Sams.
David Rosales A Sure Foundation can be heard weekdays at 9:00Am and 7:00pm on KSGR.
David Rosales, a Mexican-American by nationality, was born in Whittier, California, raised in Norwalk, California, and received early religious training as a Roman Catholic. Being involved in drug and alcohol abuse from 1965 to 1970, David considered himself a kind of "fringe member" of what was called, at that time...the "hippie movement". As a product of the so-called "love generation", David searched for meaningful answers, finding none.
Pastor Pancho Juarez is the senior pastor of Calvary Chapel Montebello. After years of alcohol abuse, drug abuse, and womanizing, Pastor Pancho gave his heart to the Lord and choose to serve Him by answering a call to ministry. In 1991 Pancho started a home bible study in East Los Angeles with 10 people and now ministers to a congregation of over 3, 500 people. Pancho has been married to Millie for over 35 years and have 5 children.
You can hear Pastor Pancho every weekday at 12pm here on 91.1 KSGR.
In 1965 Pastor Chuck Smith started his ministry at Calvary Chapel Costa Mesa. Beginning with a mere 25 people, he saw God bless his simple, yet consistent style of teaching straight through the Bible.
Today Calvary Chapel draws over 10,000 attendees weekly. With a genuine heart for the lost, Pastor Chuck made room in his ministry for a generation of hippies, surfers, and drug addicts. This generated a stirring of the Holy Spirit, which spread from the California coast to the Atlantic and beyond. This movement was instrumental in bringing thousands of young people to Jesus Christ during the 60s and 70s in what was known as the Jesus People Movement.
Pastor Chuck can be heard on KSGR at 8:00AM and 6:30PM Monday Through Friday.
