Ron Hindt Larger Than Life can be heard M-F at 4:30pm. Prior to full time ministry, Ron spent several years as a rock musician in Hollywood. In 1980, he joined the church of Calvary Chapel Costa Mesa, California, under the guidance of Pastor Chuck Smith.
He subsequently became involved with Calvary Chapel Pacific Hills, where he served as Assistant Pastor from 1981 to 1991. His involvement included youth minister, worship leader, Sunday School administration, biblical counseling, missions and teaching mid-week bible classes. Pastor Ron Hindt is blessed with a loving wife, Kym, and two children, Brittani and Matthew.
In November 1991, Pastor Ron answered the call from God to come to Houston and start a Calvary Chapel. Since moving to Houston, the fellowship, which began in a home study group, has grown to serving hundreds of people every week.
The ministry of Calvary Houston has expanded to include daily radio broadcasts of Pastor RonÙs unique, expositional style of teaching. These half-hour broadcasts, known as Larger Than Life, have been aired regularly in Houston for almost nine years.
