Pastor Don Leavell, founder and senior pastor of the Corpus Christi Christian Fellowship, is committed to sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ with the world.  We welcome Pastor Leavell's  Radio Ministry, Living The Christ Life, heard here on KSGR Monday through Fridays at 7:00 am and 8:00 pm.

He is the fifth of ten children born to Reverend Orlean and Mrs. Lina Leavell.  Growing up in Palestine, Texas, he received his early education in the public schools of east Texas.  He is a graduate of Texas A & I University in Kingsville, Texas,  earning a degree in government and economics.  While a senior at the university, he married Marva Sams.

Known for his dynamic and challenging message, Pastor Leavell is a much sought after conference speaker.  His gift of sharing the truth of the scriptures in simplicity and clarity, coupled with meaningful application, stirs in the hearer the desire to know the Lord more intimately.  Centered on changing the lives of many with the gospel of Christ, Pastor Leavell's ministry extends through out nations in North America, Europe, Africa and Asia.  He is dedicated to training and equipping others to share the same vision. He is a pastor to pastors.  His kind, gentle, compassionate manner, accompanied with a strong prophetic and apostolic mantle has earned him the respect of many.

Pastor Leavell credits his parents, Reverend Orlean and Mother Lina Leavell, who are both ministers, with "training him up in the way that he should go".  Pastor Leavell has studied the Bible since the time he first learned to read.  He was often called on to teach the adult Sunday school class when he was a teenager.

Pastor Leavell has been married to his wife Marva for thirty six years.  The couple are the parents of two adult children and grandparents to four wonderful grandchildren.
